It is a core component of our corporate strategy, as it contributes significantly to transparency toward our shareholders and plays an essential role in building and maintaining long-term trust in the management team.

Executive Board

Paul Huelsmann

CEO

Paul Huelsmann has been CEO of FINEXITY AG since 2018. In this role, he is responsible for the strategic direction of the group as well as the global Capital Markets business. He drives international expansion, develops innovative fund and platform solutions, and builds strategic partnerships with investors, financial institutions, and institutional partners.

Paul Huelsmann brings extensive experience in management and finance: he studied Management with a focus on Finance at the University of Warwick (UK), served as Assistant to the Global Chief Controlling Officer of a multinational corporation, and co-led an international incubator. He is also a licensed financial investment advisor, a passionate art collector, and studied the fundamentals of art investment at the Sotheby’s Institute of Art in London.

Michael Ost

Deputy CEO

Michael Ost is Deputy CEO on the Executive Board of Finexity AG and has overall responsibility for the Exchange business. In this role, he manages the strategic direction and day-to-day operations.

In addition, he promotes the further development of the business model, develops innovative marketing and sales strategies and expands strategic partnerships. Before joining FINEXITY, Michael Ost held various management positions at Deutsche Bank Group for over 32 years.

He was Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of BHW Bausparkasse AG and previously headed Deutsche Bank AG's private client business at its Frankfurt headquarters.

Tim Janssen

CTO

Tim Janssen has been a member of the Finexity AG Executive Board for many years and is responsible for the FINEXITY Group's IT as CTO. He is an expert in the areas of DLT, tokenization, trading, settlement and payment solutions.

As a qualified software engineer, he manages the IT of the FINEXITY Group. He leads blockchain development and uses his expertise to implement smart contracts and all associated backend services such as the FINEXITY trading platform.

Sindra Hu

CFO

Sindra Hu is part of the Executive Board of Finexity AG and CFO. In this role, she is responsible for FINEXITY's finances and, as a proven M&A expert, for the strategic growth of FINEXITY.

Sindra Hu has 20 years of experience in investment banking and private equity and, before joining FINEXITY, worked at Bankhaus Sal Oppenheim, in the investment team of Deutsche Beteiligungs AG and as an investment partner at Triton Partners, among others. Most recently, she led the businesses at ACA Capital Advisors as a Director.

Supervisory Board

Christian Wenzel (Chairman)

COO Golden Circle Finance / Former Head of Corporate Strategy (M&A) comdirect Bank

Christian Wenzel has more than 20 years of experience in banking and securities and possesses extensive expertise in strategic and innovative implementation topics. A qualified banker and business economist, he began his career in 2000 in the private banking division of a Hamburg-based private bank, where he gained in-depth knowledge of securities trading, portfolio management, and closed-end investments across various asset classes. He went on to serve as an advisor to the CEO, overseeing strategic implementation projects in wealth management.

In 2011, Mr. Wenzel joined comdirect’s in-house consulting team, where he was responsible for regulatory securities topics and the launch of new products in the trading and credit sectors. Most recently, he served as Head of Corporate Strategy, where he oversaw several M&A transactions, including the acquisition of onvista bank, the sale of ebase bank, and the merger of comdirect with Commerzbank.

Since January 2021, Christian Wenzel has served as COO of Golden Circle Finance. In addition, he is a lecturer in business administration and strategic management at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.

Prof. Dr. Ulf Schneider (Vice-Chairman)

Ex-CFO Schering AG Europa & Lt.-Amerika / Ex-Executive Advisor Parexel

Prof. Dr. Ulf Schneider studied business administration at the Technical University of Berlin and the University of British Columbia in Canada. He continued his studies at TU Berlin with a Master of Business Administration and a PhD in Business Management.

He began his professional career as an advisor in corporate finance at Schering AG, where he was responsible for all financial matters concerning subsidiaries in Latin America and Europe — particularly financial planning, cash management, and banking.

He continued his career at Parexel GmbH as Director of Finance & Administration, followed by a 20-year tenure as Managing Director Germany, as well as Chief Administrative Officer (Corporation) and Senior Vice President. For the last three years, he served as Executive Advisor to Parexel.

Since 2012, he has also been a professor of business administration (General Management and Human Resource Management) at FOM University of Applied Sciences for Economics and Management.

Roger Bigger

CEO Azemos

Roger Bigger has been a member of the Supervisory Board of Finexity AG since 2025. As the founder and CEO of Azemos Partner AG and co-founder of Crowdlitoken AG, he brings extensive expertise in corporate finance, digital assets, and strategic business development. In his role on the board, he supports FINEXITY particularly in its international expansion, capital markets strategy, and the continued development of its ecosystem for tokenized private market investments.

Christian Weber

Founder Postera Capital / Ex-CFO General Electric

As the founder of Weber Momentum, Christian focuses on customer- and efficiency-driven strategy development, growth-oriented business alignment, and advising on mergers and acquisitions (M&A). With over 21 years of experience as a board member and managing director, he has worked across the real estate sector, service industry, and manufacturing.

He is also a co-founder of Postera Capital GmbH, which launched the first EU-regulated fund for crypto assets back in 2018. Christian studied business administration at the Universities of Bayreuth (Germany) and Leeds (UK), and successfully completed the international Executive Finance Leadership Program, which included coursework at Harvard and IMD as well as projects in Japan and the United States.

Since October 2020, Christian has been supporting FINEXITY as a member of the Supervisory Board, helping to guide the company’s path of continuous growth and internationalization.

Compliance

Finexity AG has implemented a Code of Conduct and is committed to consistently complying with all applicable legal provisions, regulatory requirements, internal policies, and ethical standards. Finexity AG fully meets regulatory requirements through its subsidiary, Finexity Invest GmbH, which operates as a tied agent pursuant to § 3 (2) WpIG in the name and under the liability of Effecta GmbH. It provides investment brokerage services in accordance with § 2 (2) No. 3 WpIG. These activities are carried out exclusively on behalf of Effecta GmbH, a licensed securities institution authorized by BaFin under § 15 WpIG, with permits for investment brokerage (§ 2 (2) No. 3 WpIG) and investment advice (§ 2 (2) No. 4 WpIG). As a so-called liability umbrella, Effecta GmbH supervises and assumes responsibility for Finexity Invest GmbH within the meaning of § 3 (2) WpIG.
